The service was fine but the food was not. My hubby was an army brat in Germany for years and my entire family is 2nd generation German..we know and love German food. Hubby was incredibly excited for something familiar. The food was as bland as it could be. Only my son's "spicy fries" had seasoning and those aren't house made. The schnitzel was tough and thick with very thick breading. The chicken dish and pan fried potatoes had zero seasoning. I never really add salt to things but I had to in this case. For 3 plates of food it was over $50... disappointing to say the least.

Okay here's the thing, I called in a to-go order and enjoyed my meal and then a few hours later I read an online article about health code violations dated March 11th 2019 Houston chronicle. I found Cafe Michael Burger head over 16 health code violations, several I found quite disturbing including and not limited to restroom and personal hygiene along with sanitation issues.Hopefully they get it together because I love the menu here.
